This German-Canadian team is based in the Toronto neighbourhood of Brockton Village. Their hand-painted designs are colourful, playful and have lovely, cozy character.
Hamilton-based, Loose Leaves Paper Goods features the art of oh-so-talented illustrator Laura Konyndyk. Every design starts with watercolour from her imagination, and every card invites us to savour the beauty of whimsical, hand-painted illustrations.
From Toronto, Victoria gets her drawing inspiration from nature, animals, and her world travels. Her mission? To bring a little bit of joy and beauty to people’s lives in the form of whimsical greeting cards and home decor. Each piece in her collection is hand-drawn and reflects her playful and cute illustration style with soft colour palettes.
Based out of Lorette, Manitoba, Paper Canoe owns an independent fabric line, creates custom illustrations for businesses, as well as running a retail/wholesale division of a nature-inspired, eco-friendly paper line. All designs are by Canadian Illustrator, Leanne Thiessen, involving a mixture of hand-drawn, watercolour and vector elements.

This is a Glengarry girl! Yup! This illustrator and new mamma grew up in the Alexandria area. Now, Merrickville-area based, Art of Melodious is a result of the love of funny cards and great illustrations. Founder Melodie Burns saw that people loved her homemade illustrated cards, with the encouragement of her #1 supporter and husband/partner, she pursued her dream of owning her own business and creating art she loved.
This fun, colourful sticker is made by me, Anick! I wrote and doodled with a regular Crayola marker and then put my graphic design skills to use.
Last but not least, a pencil! Since I opened the shoppe, I wanted to have a white pencil with my business name stamped in gold foil. Et voilà!
